Child Development Services

• Use of Creative Curriculum by Diane Trister-Dodge that’s play based and environment rich
• Learning/interest centers is the focal point of the curriculum
• Use DIAL Developmental Screening
• Creative Curriculum Continuum Assessment
• Prepare children for kindergarten
• Uses learning centers, individualization & small group learning
• Field trips
• Outdoor play (nature walks, balls, climber, etc.)
• Children initiate own activities in learning centers:

Health/Dental Services

Families/Parents:

• CPR/First Aid Training, help with obtaining health insurance, assist in obtaining a medical home, health related referral services
• Assist parents with finding a dental home for a child
• Help for pregnant moms
  Dental screenings, physicals, follow-up

Nutrition Services

• Children receive nutritious breakfast, lunch and snack
• Meals served family style
• Menus sent home
• Quarterly nutrition education newsletter
• Counseling
• Feedback on nutrition assessments

Behavioral Health Services

• Uses Ages & Stages Social/Emotional Assessment for children

Special Needs Services

• Uses DIAL Screening and observations to determine if further testing is needed
• Referrals to school districts or Early On & works with them to develop a plan to meet child’s needs
